Come to full stop and Repeat this at least 3 times (more the better) in each of the driving modes.

A couple of weeks ago I left home (cold engine), and along the side road from my house it felt like the handbrake was on (25mph), something just didnt seem right.

Then the light came fully on and 15-30 seconds later the motor went off while driving and the "engine failsafe program" message came on. I was only about 3 miles from the mechanic so waited 15 minutes and would not start on first try. put into neutral and started down a hill. Limped it over the mechanic with no hazzard lights working. The transfer case works by directing power from the transmission to both the front and rear differentials. xDrive can make a trip on snowy roads an easier time on you and your car. BMW xDrive is found on the BMW X1, X3, X5, and X6 crossover sport They dismounted, turned, and remounted all tires — still vibration. I am convinced it's something in the driveline and not the tires/wheels. It only happens when passing through 3000 RPM at mid to heavy throttle, only really noticeable in first and second gear.
